Belle Epoque (Beautiful Era) was a period in French history dating back to 1871 and ending when World War 1 began in 1914. This was the era when Absinthe Mixology was on the rise and the use of a perforated spoon had become widely used when dissolving the sugar cube into the absinthe.
The Belle Epoque Absinthe Spoon is appropriately named after this French era. A beautifully perforated design captures the movement known to this period that is symbolic of peace, art and literature. It is made from a stainless steel material and features 2 sets of prongs which allow for stability on the rim of the absinthe glass while in use. It measures approximately 6.375 inches in length.
